This is how CreatorLab Studios (“CreatorLab Studios”, “I”) handles the information you give me when you use thecreatorlabstudios.com, book a call, send a form, or text or email me. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.
Who I am
CreatorLab Studios is a one-person studio run by Josh Jackson at 931 10th St, Diamond Suite, Modesto, CA 95354. You can reach me at hello@thecreatorlabstudios.com or (209) 821-2594. That mailbox is monitored by me, not a department.
What I collect, and why
When you book a call or send the enquiry form: your name, business name, town, trade, website address if you have one, email address, mobile number, the towns you also serve, and anything you choose to tell me in the notes. I collect these so I can run your visibility audit before we speak and get back to you with times and findings.
When you request the Playbook: your name, email address, business name and trade, so I can send you the link and know roughly who is reading it.
When you use the booking calendar: the calendar is provided by a third-party scheduling service embedded on the booking page. It collects the details you type into it (name, email, phone, the time you pick) under its own privacy terms, and passes the booking to me.
Automatically: when you submit a form I record the date and time, the page you were on, and your IP address, alongside the exact consent wording you were shown and which boxes you ticked. I keep that so that if your consent is ever questioned I can show what you agreed to and when.
What I do not collect: there is no analytics, advertising or tracking script on this site at the time of writing, and no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. If that changes, this page changes first.
Phone numbers and text messages
If you give me your mobile number and tick the contact box, I may call or text you about your enquiry and your audit. If you also tick the optional marketing box, I may occasionally send tips and offers by text or email — a few messages a month at most. You can stop either at any time by replying STOP, and reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to marketing messages is never a condition of getting your free audit or of buying anything.
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Who I share your information with
Nobody, for marketing. I do not sell, rent or trade your details, and I do not share your mobile number or your messaging consent with any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes.
The only people or services that see your information are the ones I need to run the business: my email and hosting provider (which stores the form submissions), the scheduling service (which runs the booking calendar), and the messaging service I use to send and receive texts. Each of them processes your data on my behalf and is not permitted to use it for anything else. If the law requires me to disclose something, I will, and I will tell you if I am allowed to.
How long I keep it
Enquiry and booking records, including the consent record, are kept for [RETENTION PERIOD — to be confirmed before launch] from the last time we were in contact, then deleted. If you become a client, the records relating to our work are kept for as long as we work together and for the period required for accounting and tax purposes afterwards.
Your choices
- See or correct it: email me and I will send you what I hold about you, or fix it.
- Delete it: email me and I will delete your records, unless I am required to keep something (a consent record for a message already sent, for example), in which case I will tell you what and why.
- Stop messages: reply STOP to any text, use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or just tell me.
Requests go to hello@thecreatorlabstudios.com or by post to 931 10th St, Diamond Suite, Modesto, CA 95354. I answer them myself, usually within a few days.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are stored in a database that only I have access to, on a host with its own security controls. No system is perfectly secure, but I keep this one small on purpose: the less I collect, the less there is to lose.
Children
This site is for business owners. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and if I find that I have, I delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If the change matters — a new category of data, a new third party — I will say so plainly rather than bury it.
